Some more things you might be interested to learn about me:

I wish someone had told me that I'd get paid to write about this stuff when I was 10 because then I'd have felt a lot less guilty about the amount of time I spent reading old copies of Omni and books about monsters.

I always maintain high standards of truth and accuracy and my passion for research means I am constantly ferreting out fresh leads and new ideas.

I’m an avid advocate for popular culture, always keeping up to date with the latest in film, television and gaming. But I've never seen Bambi. I don't intend to, it seems far too sad I really don't want to put myself through that.

This year I have also decided to diversify and I recently received a Distinction in my CIPR Foundation Award in Public Relations.

I have written extensively on a range of strange phenomena and mysteries for a variety of publications (including Beyond , Paranormal and Prediction Magazines).

Neither a firm believer or aggressive sceptic I prefer to keep a truly open mind on the subject!

I also specialise in ethical living, environmental and green issues, applying the same open-minded, pragmatic and evidence based approach.

Thanks to a strong academic background (including a degree in Human Sciences from Oxford University) I'm able to explore human nature and experiences from a variety of viewpoints: strictly scientific, anthropological or a more esoteric approach.

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome EDS III (sometimes known as Benign Joint Hypermobility Syndrome) and temporal lobe epilepsy.

Thanks to my first hand experience of chronic illness and time spent studying at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine I also have a keen interest in healthy living and medical issues.
